Kaitlan Collins breaks silence following Trump’s savage attack at White House dinner
CNN’s Kaitlan Collins finally addressed President Trump’s brutal White House dinner roast after his viral swipe at her on stage.
Speaking to The Daily Show host Jon Stewart, Collins insisted she refuses to make Trump’s attacks about herself or her personal reaction.
“I’ve always felt this, regardless of who’s the president, whether it’s Joe Biden, Donald Trump … It’s really not about me, and I don’t want it to be about my reaction,” Collins said.
She argued viewers should focus instead on the questions she asks and the answers she says the president avoids.
Trump mocked Collins during the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, joking she “never smiles” and ridiculing her CNN role.
