Julius Malema granted leave to appeal five year prison sentence
Economic Freedom Fighters leader Julius Malema has dodged the bullet, for now. Malema has been granted leave to appeal his five-year prison sentence for being in violation of the Firearms Control Act. Magistrate Twanet Olivier told the East London Regional Court, that Malema’s conviction still stands. Ugly scenes played out in court shortly after it had adjourned between members of Afriforum and the EFF. eNCA’s Ronald Masinda reports from KuGompo City. Courtesy #DStv403
