Johor’s rise as data centre hub, SG expansion ‘constrained’
Johor is the fastest-growing South-east Asia data centre hub, with its aggregate supply nearly doubling to 5.8 GW in the past year, said Knight Frank in a report released on Wed (Sep 10). The report also noted that Singapore’s “strict planning controls” played a part in this rise.
