Johnson accepts missing facts

The Madlanga Commission have strongly criticised IDAC head Andrea Johnson. She’s been accused of soliciting a Section 27 affidavit from MP Fadiel Adams, a fact she later conceded. The Commission argued that the NPA Act requires a factual basis to substantiate reasonable suspicion. Johnson admitted during questioning that the affidavit she relied on presented claims and inferences rather than the required specific evidentiary details. #dstv403
