JD Vance Sounds Alarm on ‘Festering’ Fraud Problem in Maine
Vice President JD Vance visited Maine on Thursday to promote the Trump administration’s anti-fraud efforts ahead of key primary elections. Vance said fraud in government social programs harms taxpayers and praised former governor Paul LePage as an ally in tackling what he called a “festering” problem in the state. He also commended Senator Susan Collins for her independence while campaigning for Republican candidates in the state.
