With neo-Nazis attending last month’s anti-immigration marches — and reportedly using them as recruitment opportunities — the question arises: is neo-Nazism back under the spotlight in Australia?

Callum Jones and Greg Barton whose research focuses on political extremism, speak to SBS News to unpack why far-right movements appear to be on the rise. Barton said the perception that these groups are on the rise is “exactly the message they want” to project.
