Iran’s Biggest Attack? 30 Injured After Explosions Destroy Dozens Of Oil Tanks In U.S. Ally Nation
A massive fire erupted after midnight at a petroleum products facility in Iraq’s northern Sulaymaniyah province, triggering explosions in tanks containing highly flammable materials and injuring at least 30 people. The blaze broke out in the Tanjaro area, prompting civil defence teams to rush to the scene as security forces cordoned off the area and diverted traffic. Four firefighters were also injured while battling the flames. Most victims, mainly workers and site crews, received treatment and were discharged, while an Iranian worker remained hospitalized with serious injuries. Officials later confirmed the fire was completely controlled and said provincial fuel supplies remained unaffected.
