Iran will play World Cup fixtures in US, says FIFA boss Infantino
FIFA president Gianni Infantino said that Iran’s World Cup games “will be where they should be” after holding talks with them in Türkiye.
Iran’s football federation asked the world governing body FIFA to move its World Cup matches to Mexico from the United States due to concerns over player safety, federation president Mehdi Taj said earlier this month.
