Iran seizes ships in Strait of Hormuz | Ukraine unblocks $147B loan | New UN leader to be selected

The US and Iran continue to jostle for control in the Strait of Hormuz.

Washington maintains a blockade on Iranian ports and says the peace process is moving forward.

But Tehran is holding firm, insisting the blockade must end before any talks can proceed.

Just hours after US President Donald Trump extended a ceasefire, Iran’s Revolutionary Guard seized two international cargo ships and fired on another in the strategic waterway.
