‘Insanity’: UN appoints Iran to conference on nuclear non-proliferation

Sky News host James Macpherson details how the United Nations has elected Iran to join a conference on nuclear non-proliferation.

“Overnight, the United Nations was busy electing Iran to help lead a conference on nuclear non-proliferation,” Mr Macpherson said.

“Can you believe that? Inviting Iran to help lead an event designed to stop nations like Iran getting nuclear weapons. Insanity.

“Then again, the United Nations recently invited Iran to co-chair a committee on human rights. So, the United Nations is insane, but consistently insane.”
