IDAC head Adv Johnson could face criminal charges

The head of the Independent Directorate Against Corruption, Advocate Andrea Johnson, could face criminal charges from a political party in Parliament, after it became clear that she had misled Parliament’s Ad Hoc Committee, when she appeared before it in November last year.

The committee was established to investigate allegations of political interference in SAPS.

Appearing before the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry last week, Johnson made several concessions during a grueling two days on the stand.
