‘I feel a sense of pride’: Richard Marles reflects on Anzac Day commemorations
Defence Minister Richard Marles reflects on Australia commemorating Anzac Day, speaking about the “pride” he feels.
“I think Australians are coming out in really significant numbers today to commemorate Anzac Day as they do every year, but with a particular poignancy this year,” Mr Marles told Sky News Australia.
“It is a moment where I feel a sense of pride in the way in which the country comes together to acknowledge the incredible work which I see them do each and every day.
