Hundreds attend ANZAC Day dawn service at Gallipoli
Hundreds of Australian and New Zealand nationals attended a dawn service at ANZAC (Australian and New Zealand Army Corps) Cove on the shore of Gallipoli in Turkey on Saturday (April 25).
The ceremony marked the 111th anniversary of the day when thousands of soldiers struggled ashore on a narrow beach at Gallipoli during an ill-fated military campaign that claimed more than 130,000 lives.
