‘Huge smack to the Left’: One Nation surge sends shockwaves through Labor
Sky News host Andrew Bolt believes One Nation’s Farrer breakthrough has shaken both major parties and exposed deep working-class discontent.
“One nation’s win in Farrer is a disaster for the Liberals. But it also gave the Left a huge smack,” Mr Bolt said.
“The reason we’re not talking about it also being a disaster for Labor is that Labor this time didn’t even dare run a candidate, it was so scared of the voters.
“One nation is beyond the old left and right., It is a party of the working class, and more so now than Labor.
“Albanese today just blamed the Liberals and Nationals for creating this One Nation threat.”
