Tourists in Supetar on Croatia’s Brac Island are cooling off in a unique way by horse riding in the sea during a sweltering Balkan summer heatwave. While many holiday spots offer horse riding along the beach, this experience takes visitors directly into the Adriatic waters. Ranch owner Stiven Razmilic created the idea from childhood memories of taking horses to the beach in hot weather. Visitor Marijela Lagator says it’s a perfect way to escape the city, enjoy nature and spend time with animals.
