Horrifying Dashcam Footage Shows Plane Going Down in West Palm Beach
Dramatic air traffic control audio and shocking dashcam footage captured the panicked final moments of a $2 million private Learjet 60 before it nosedived and exploded along a busy road in West Palm Beach, Florida, on November 1. Flying from Austin, Texas, to the Bahamas with nine people on board, the crew radioed controllers that the aircraft was in an “overspeed condition” descending at 20,000 feet per minute, with a female crew member screaming, “Holy f–k, we’re out of time,” just before the crash at approximately 1:00 p.m. The jet slammed into the ground on Military Trail near a mobile home park, prompting the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office and the FAA to close the roadway as emergency crews responded to the scene and launched an investigation.
