Hero teen lifeguard meets Donald Trump at White House after viral rescue
The 16-year-old hero lifeguard who saved a child from drowning has met US President Donald Trump at the White House.
Ryder Williams was filmed conducting the heroic rescue in California last month, saving 10-year-old Nathaniel Rai from rough conditions.
The US President says he will award Mr Williams what he called a ‘high civilian honour’ for the rescue.
