Hero nurse uses jiu-jitsu skills to take down violent patient
A Brisbane nurse has been forced to use his jiu-jitsu black belt skills to restrain an allegedly abusive patient who attacked him inside a hospital emergency department.
Security footage shows Daniel Nelson escorting an intoxicated man away from the emergency department at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital when the situation turned violent.
