Hegseth Breaks Silence On Impeachment Threat, Slams Democrats; Makes $350 Billion Military Demand
Pete Hegseth has hit back at a fresh impeachment push by Democrats, dismissing the articles filed against him as a political attack and insisting the effort will fail. Speaking at the Pentagon, the U.S. Secretary of Defense accused his political opponents of pursuing personal destruction rather than addressing policy failures. Hegseth compared the impeachment effort to previous attempts against President Donald Trump, declaring that the same tactics would not work against him. During the speech, Hegseth also demanded at least $350 billion in additional military funding through a reconciliation bill, defending the Trump administration’s defence priorities and its military operations against Iran.
