Hantavirus cruise ship passengers board repatriation flights in complex operation | ABC NEWS
Passengers have begun to be evacuated from a hantavirus-hit cruise ship in the Canary Islands and board repatriation flights to 23 different countries.
Five people from Australia and one New Zealander are expected to be the last to leave the MV Hondius, as they await an Australian charter flight to arrive on Tenerife.
Meanwhile, a team of British paratroopers and an emergency doctor have parachuted onto the isolated island of Tristan da Cunha with medical supplies to assist with a case of hantavirus.
