AT LEAST five people have been killed after a gunman opened fire in Kyiv before taking hostages inside a supermarket.

The attack in the capital’s Holosiivskyi district left at least 10 others injured, the mayor said.

Shocking video showed the Moscow-born shooter brandishing his automatic weapon in the Velmart supermarket where he was holding hostages.
