Govt mulls amending Strata Management Act to strengthen accountability of JMBs, MCs, says Nga
The government will look into amendments to the Strata Management Act 2013 under the National Housing Policy 2026-2035 to strengthen the accountability, transparency and governance of Joint Management Bodies (JMBs) and Management Corporations (MCs), says Nga Kor Ming.
The Housing and Local Government Minister said the move was aimed at addressing longstanding issues in the management and maintenance of strata communities.
