Garden Route tops global road trip list
The Garden Route in the Western Cape has beaten America’s iconic Route 66 and Italy’s Amalfi Coast for global recognition as the number one road trip in the world. Automotive giant, Autotrader UK, scored the Garden Route 90-point-six out of 100 in the global study. It assessed factors such as road quality, scenery, weather conditions, visibility, temperature, and overall driving experience.
