Free State | Mortuary closed due to broken ventilation system

The Free State government mortuary has been served with a prohibition notice by the Department of Employment and Labour for the second time in two years.

According to the Department of Health, this is due to a broken ventilation system.

Trade union NEHAWU has warned that the mortuary will remain closed until the safety and wellbeing of its members are guaranteed.
