Forensic pathology centres resume operations after week-long labour protest
The Gauteng Health Department says forensic pathology centres in Hillbrow, Pretoria and Diepkloof have resumed operations after a week-long protest by employees over working conditions.
The department says workers have returned to duty and are working to clear the post-mortem backlog caused by the work stoppage. Meanwhile, reports are coming in that a section of security personnel at the Baragwanath Hospital are protesting following the termination of contracts.
