Florida officer buys boots for dog struggling to walk on hot pavement
A officer spotted a dog struggling to walk on the hot pavement in Daytona Beach, Florida, on May 2, and stepped up to help by buying the pooch a pair of protective boots. The Daytona Beach Police Department (DBPD) said the officer met a man and his dog, Brew, while on patrol on Saturday, and used his own money to buy protective footwear to keep Brew’s paws safe.
