Florida driver speaks out after officer claims she held phone in hand she doesn’t have

Florida resident Katie Thomas reacts to a viral video of herself, in which an officer accused her of holding a phone in her right hand, despite the fact that she doesn’t have one.

“My reaction is very much me … the line that I think makes me laugh the most is just the ‘so, are we going to call it a day?’ and that gets me every time,” Ms Thomas told Sky News Australia.

“It wasn’t until I watched the footage back after I received the body cam that I really realised just how damaging what he said and his actions were.”
