A day before its high-profile inauguration, a fire broke out at the refinery-cum-petrochemical complex in Rajasthan’s Balotra district on Monday. Initial reports suggested that the blaze erupted in the Crude Distillation Unit of the refinery, raising safety concerns ahead of the inauguration. Following the incident, fire tenders rushed to the spot to control the blaze.
