A disappointing crowd attended a send-off event for the South African team that leaves for the FIFA World Cup in the Americas on Sunday morning.

Supporters and superfans of the team gathered to catch a glimpse of their favourite players at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg.

Bafana Bafana played to a goalless draw with lowly-ranked Nicaragua at the Orlando Stadium on Friday evening.

Those who made the effort to attend the event remain optimistic and see the bigger picture; Bafana should not be judged by their performance against the Central Americans.
