‘Fanciful rubbish’: Barnaby Joyce trashes Chris Bowen’s insane data centre plan

One Nation MP Barnaby Joyce takes aim at Energy Minister Chris Bowen over the government’s plan to block gas-powered data centres.

“It’s fanciful rubbish that you can do it on intermittent power,” Mr Joyce told News24.

“The Northern Territory has said the logical thing, that if you want it, you’re going to have to do it on gas.

“It’s crazy, it’s insanity.”
