‘FAKE NAME & FAKE MARRIAGE’: Ilhan Omar’s End Is ‘Very Close’? Trump Reads DOJ Verdict To Stun Dems
Donald Trump has dramatically escalated his attack on Rep. Ilhan Omar, seizing on a new Justice Department filing and claiming the Minnesota Democrat used a “fake name” when she entered Congress.
At an Iowa rally, Trump told supporters that a federal filing identified Omar as “Ilhan Nur Said Elmi, a/k/a Ilhan Abdullahi Omar.” He then linked that name to Omar’s former husband, Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, and revived the long-running allegation that she married a relative for immigration purposes.
