Exclusive investigation: #models describe abuse in #Epstein-linked network
“You don’t work if you say no,” said Thysia Huisman, a former model, describing a tangled web of coercion, fear and exploitation surrounding Jeffrey Epstein associate Jean-Luc Brunel and the modeling network tied to him.
Huisman, one of Brunel’s leading accusers, says he drugged and raped her after a party in Paris in 1991. She later fled the city and says returning years later to report him to the police was the first time she had gone back to Paris since the assault.
The investigation also explores how young women from Central and Eastern Europe were recruited with promises of work and a better future.
