Europe has to find a way of speaking with Putin | Jan Lipavský

Finland’s President Alexander Stubb said that Europe should restart talks with Russia, but questions remain over who should represent the continent. With so many European countries engaged in supporting Ukraine, can Europe speak in one voice?

“Europe has to find a way how to speak with Putin… but it’s not clear who should be speaking with him,” Jan Lipavský, former Foreign Minister of the Czech Republic, told TVP World, discussing Europe’s diplomatic approach toward Russia.

Should Europe centralize its negotiation strategy? Do European sanctions still have any impact on the war, which is in its fifth year? And is a diplomatic resolution at all possible, or is Russia preparing for escalation rather than peace?

Join our host, Aaron Dahmen, and his guest as they explore European diplomacy, the war’s trajectory, and Russia’s war economy.
