Energy crunch: France announces extra fuel aid, Indonesia pushes for B50 biodiesel


The French government on April 21 announced the extension of targeted aid for farmers, fishermen and transport workers averaging 20 euro cents per litre to tackle the global energy crisis amid the US-Israel war against Iran.

Indonesia has begun real-world testing of the B50 biodiesel, marking a key step toward higher renewable fuel use while Pakistan requires businesses to close by 8pm or 10.30pm to conserve electricity.
