Ehlanzeni TVET College | Students faced with many challenges
Students at the Ehlanzeni TVET College in Mbombela, Mpumalanga, say they faced a myriad of challenges, including the allocation of the National Student Financial Assistance Scheme, workshop equipment, textbooks and intimidation.
The students revealed these challenges during an oversight visit by Parliament’s Portfolio Committee on Higher Education.
The committee is in the province to interact with management and students at tertiary institutions and learn about their achievements and challenges.
