Ebola outbreak: US airports screen travelers
Several airports are screening airline passengers amid the Memorial Day travel rush as Ebola outbreak concerns rise.
Healthcare workers in eastern Congo said they are underprotected and undertrained amid the spread of Ebola, a rare type of the virus in one of the world’s most remote and vulnerable places.
The World Health Organization, which noted a low risk globally, has said “patient zero” has not been found.
With the Memorial Day travel weekend getting underway, several US airports are screening airline passengers for Ebola, as well as hantavirus.
