Ebola outbreak | At least 100 deaths reported in DR Congo
The African Union Commission Chair, Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, has expressed concern over the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Uganda.
He says the continental body is watching the developments.
The AU boss has also commended the governments of the two countries for their concerted efforts to contain the outbreaks in the region.
Ali Youssouf says the continental body stands in solidarity with the people of the DRC and Uganda.
He has welcomed preparedness measures undertaken by authorities in South Sudan as well.
