A police constable was allegedly attacked with a stick by a drunken youth in Kalyan West’s Gauripada area after residents alerted the police about a man creating a disturbance while intoxicated. The accused, identified as Rahul Tayade, allegedly assaulted constable Ganesh Chavan of Khadakpada Police Station, leaving him injured. Police have registered a case and arrested the accused. The entire incident was captured on CCTV, and the video has since gone viral on social media.
