Drug Abuse | Eastern Cape has only one rehabilitation centre
Drug-related crimes have been attributed to escalating gang violence in Nelson Mandela Bay. The metro records an average of 40 murders per month. Authorities have also been unable to deal with a massive surge of drug dens. They admit there are hundreds in the city.
