Drone attack on UN vehicles in Ukraine
The United Nations has released video of the moment UN cars came under a drone attack while delivering aid in the Ukrainian city of Kherson.
Andrea De Domenico from the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in Ukraine said the convoy had been on a pre-planned mission to reach Ostriv, which has not received assistance for months.
The convoy had followed standard security procedures and notified both Ukrainian and Russian sides ahead of the operation, he added.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said a vehicle belonging to OCHA had been targeted in the attack and that De Domenico and eight other staff members had been inside at the time. There has been no comment from Russia so far.
