‘Down to the wire now’: Artemis II astronauts preparing for splashdown
The crew of NASA’s Artemis II mission – Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover and Christina Koch of NASA and Jeremy Hansen of the Canadian Space Agency – have now spent eight days in space during their flight to the moon and back.
The spacecraft has left the lunar sphere of influence and is accelerating back towards earth, with a splashdown anticipated in the Pacific Ocean on Saturday.
