‘Don’t Need Apology, Wait for Revenge’: Iran ‘HUMILIATES’ Zelensky Over Ukraine’s Ship Attack
Ukraine has reportedly apologised to Iran after a controversial strike on vessels involved in military cargo shipments in the Caspian Sea, according to an Iranian media report. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha told his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi that the incident was unintentional and resulted from an operational error. It also alleges that President Volodymyr Zelensky’s public remarks celebrating the strike were described as ill-considered. However, Iran apparently rejected the reported apology. Tehran said it considered the targeting of the Iranian commercial vessel a “crime” that “cannot pass without a response.” Earlier, Iranian officials strongly condemned Zelensky’s comments, while reports suggested Tehran was weighing its options following the incident.
