Donald Trump recalls he ‘wasn’t worried’ during horrifying WHCD assassination attempt
US President Donald Trump has recalled the events during his evacuation during the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
On Saturday, shots rang out as President Trump and several cabinet members were ushered out of the ballroom by Secret Service agents.
Following the attack, Trump spoke to CBS correspondent Norah O’Donnell for an interview with ’60 Minutes’.
Trump recalled he “wasn’t worried” throughout the ordeal and blamed his curiosity for why the Secret Service took so long to evacuate him.
“I wasn’t worried, I understand life. We live in a crazy world,” Trump said.
