Dlamini-Zuma says Mbalula bought his way up

ANC Secretary General, Fikile Mbalula, has denied claims that he bought his way into the ANC Secretariat.

In a statement, Mbalula has refuted the allegations levelled against him by ANC NEC member, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma.

In a Renaissance Podcast that aired on Monday, Dlamini-Zuma claimed that money played a big role in the ANC’s 55th National Conference, resulting in Mbalula being elected as party Secretary General.

Dlamini-Zuma also claims that the current ANC top seven officials were procured with money.

Mbalula says he’s instructed his lawyers to seek clarity from Dlamini-Zuma on what he calls very damaging and painful allegations.
