‘Disturbing and sinister’: Two-tier policing back in the spotlight after Widdecombe death
TalkTV host Kevin O’Sullivan labels two-tier policing in the UK “disturbing and sinister” following the death of Ann Widdecombe.
“There’s a long ongoing problem here in Britain with what we call two-tier policing,” Mr O’Sullivan told Sky News host Danica De Giorgio.
“The police have got a long track record in these kinds of high-profile cases, of kind of deceiving the public, not wanting to tell us … it could be terrorism, it could be murder.
“They always want to keep the masses placid … this is not the first time the coppers in Britain have been guilty of deceiving the public. It is a very disturbing and sinister syndrome that’s getting worse in this country.”
