Former Neighbours actress Holly Valance urged Brits to proudly embrace patriotism and reject claims nationalism is racist.

Australian actress Holly Valance joined the “Unite the Kingdom” rally over the weekend and promoted the message across social media.

“Don’t be embarrassed and don’t be too scared to stand up for your country,” Ms Valance said.

“Respect the culture, respect the flag, don’t be embarrassed to fly the flag, be patriotic.

“Don’t let anybody tell you you’re a racist for doing so, it’s disgusting and treacherous and treasonous that they would.”
