‘Disaster’ for Trump if Republicans lose 2026 midterms

News24 Washington Correspondent Jonathan Kearsley says if Republicans lose the midterms, it would be a “disaster” for US President Donald Trump.

“If Republicans lose the House and the Senate, it would be a disaster,” Mr Kearsley told News24 host Danica De Giorgio.

“It would make the final two years of President 47 a lame duck presidency.”
