At least one person was killed and 17 others injured after a vehicle drove into a crowd at one of Europe’s largest Pride celebrations.
The incident unfolded during Berlin’s flagship pride event, prompting the evacuation of hundreds of thousands of festival-goers from the city centre.
The driver fled the scene but investigators say they have identified a potential suspect, who they said is ‘known to police as a member of the Islamist scene’.
