Chile Deports First Migrants Under New Crackdown Plan #shorts

Chile has launched its first expulsion flight under President Jose Antonio Kast’s new migration crackdown, removing 40 foreign nationals from the northern city of Iquique to Bolivia, Colombia, and Ecuador. Authorities said those deported included individuals without legal status and others with criminal records, ranging from robbery to drug-related offenses. Officials emphasized the removals were carried out without prior public notice and signaled that enforcement will intensify, following recent police raids and detentions in Santiago.
