Charlie Kirk funeral service plans released
Turning Point USA, the company founded by Charlie Kirk has announced that funeral services for the 31-year-old conservative political activist will be Sunday, September 21 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
Doors will open at 8:00AM local time with the service starting at 11:00AM (2:00PM ET).
President Donald Trump has said he plans to attend, along with others in his administration.
Kirk was murdered, hit with a single gunshot fired from a nearby roof as he hosted an event at Utah Valley University (UVU) in Orem, Utah.
Tyler Robinson, the 22-year-old suspect in Kirk’s assassination is in custody and will have formal charges filed Tuesday followed by his initial court appearance.
